Corning is a small city that is big on culture.  It  is home to the world famous Corning Museum of Glass which is the third largest tourist attraction in New York State.  Other area attractions include:

Corning is adjacent to the picturesque Finger Lakes region of Upstate New York, an area full of wonderful activities for all ages including parks, festivals, wine trails, and scenic vistas. 


Night Life


Corning's historic downtown, called the Gaffer District, is filled with restaurants, bars, coffee shops, and a movie theater, and regularly offers live music on weekends, in addition to the frequent local festivals.  You can also find fine arts entertainment such as theatre, dance, and music ensambles. 

Shopping
Historic Market Street in downtown Corning is nationally recognized for its architectural styles and restoration, and is home to over 115 boutiques, antiques, specialty shops, art galleries, jewelers and outlets - all within a compact 5 block area. Located nearby are the Arnot Mall, Consumer Square, and Southern Tier Crossing - collectively the largest shopping center within the Southern Tier.
